Hascall Steel Co. is expanding into Canton, Mich.
The Grandville, Mich.-based distributor and service center is opening a 250,000-square-foot facility featuring four slitters able to process 60,000-pound coils ranging from .015 to .400 x 72 inches. A new Red Bud stretcher leveler is expected to be installed in spring 2025.
“I want to thank our employees, valued customers, and trusted suppliers for making this possible. It is a privilege to serve you all,” said Dag Hascall, CEO, who added that the facility will be named in honor of his father, Wayne C. Hascall.
Hascall Steel, which was founded in 1971, maintains a large inventory of unallocated steel and offers advanced processing capabilities, including slitting, blanking, shearing, and stretcher leveling.
This is the fourth location for the company, which also has facilities in Nashville, Tenn., and Chicago.
