Cornerstone spends $475M on Mueller Supply buy

Cornerstone Building Brands agreed to buy Mueller Supply Co. for $475 million, according to an 8-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 1.
As previously reported, the transaction is expected to close in Q3’24. The price is also subject to certain customary adjustments.
Ballinger, Texas-based Mueller is a manufacturer of residential metal roofing and steel buildings in Texas and the Southwest.
Cornerstone, base din Cary, N.C., manufactures exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America.
A request for comment from Cornerstone was not returned by time of publication.
