Metals Industry Dinner- Boy Scouts of America

Every year the metals industry in the Chicago area produces a fund-raiser for the Boy Scouts of America. As the years have gone by, the dinner has become one of the premium networking opportunities for those associated in the steel and non-ferrous metals industries. We have heard this year’s event, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Chicago on May 1st, is promising to be one of the largest in years.

US manufacturing activity contracted for the sixth consecutive month in September, according to the latest report from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). The index has indicated a contracting industrial sector for 22 of the past 23 months.
