Convert Zinc Coatings From OZ/FT2 To G/M2

Calculation to Convert Zinc Coating

When converting coating weights from ounces to grams per meters squared you must understand the ratio of ounces per square foot to grams per square foot.

                             1 OZ/FT = 305.15 G/M2

Knowing this, simply take your coating weight (in oz/ft2) and multiply it by 305.15.

EXAMPLE:   G90 (0.90 OZ/FT2) X 305.15 = 275 G/M2
