TMW to Price Per Square Foot

Simply take your TMW decimal and multiply by 40.8 (thats the actual pounds per sq. ft. of steel by 1 inch) and then multiply again by your price per pound.  That will give you the price per square foot.

In short:

• TMW Decimal X 40.8 X Price per Pound = Price per Square Foot.

Actual Weight to Price Per Square Foot

Take your average physical decimal and multiply by 40.8 and again multiply by your price per pound.  This gives you the price per square foot.

In short:

• Average Decimal X 40.8 X Price per Pound = Price per Square FT.

TNW to Price Per Square Foot

Take your theoretical nominal weight decimal and multiply by 41.82 (nom weight per sq ft by 1 inch) and again multiply by your price per pound. That will give you the price per square foot.

In short:

• TNW Decimal X 41.82 X Price per Pound = Price per Square Foot.

Linear Footage to Price Per Square Foot

Take your price per linear foot and divide it by the width of the coil.  This gives you the price per square foot.

In short:

• Price per Linear Foot ÷ Width of Coil in Feet = Price per Square Foot.

Price Per Sheet to Price Per Square Foot

Take your price per sheet and divide by the total square feet in the sheet.  That gives you the price per square foot.

In short:

• Price Per Sheet ÷ Square Feet in Sheet = Price per Square Foot.
