Worthington Steel set to move HQ across town in Columbus

Worthington Steel is preparing to relocate its corporate headquarters across town from the Worthington suburb of Columbus, Ohio.
“We will be moving more than 400 employees to the Easton area of Columbus,” a spokeswoman for the Columbus-based metals processor told SMU. “This allows us to bring our corporate, commercial, and IT functions together under one roof.”
The spokeswoman said Worthington Steel began the process of identifying a new headquarters space after the separation from Worthington Enterprises last year.
Worthington Enterprises, however, will remain in its current headquarters in the town that shares its name, according to a report in The Columbus Dispatch. The company is a designer and manufacturer of building products, consumer products, and sustainable energy solutions.
Meanwhile, Worthington Steel has not finalized the move schedule yet.
“However, I can tell you that we are currently working on plans with our design and construction partners, we hope to begin the move process sometime next summer (in 2026),” the spokeswoman said.
