Steel Dynamics Inc. (SDI) has been named as one of the “2025 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations” by Corporate Knights.
The Fort Wayne, Ind.-based company was ranked 29th overall by the sustainable economy magazine, and held the top position for any steelmaker globally.
“We are honored by this acknowledgement,” SDI Chairman and CEO Mark D. Millett said in a statement Friday. “Our recognition as one of world’s most sustainable corporations is due to the extraordinary passion and spirit of excellence exhibited by our teams.”
Toronto-based Corporate Knights’ methodology was based on an assessment of over 8,300 publicly traded companies with over $1 billion in revenue.
