NexGen and SMU Steel Summit App Update From John Packard
Written by John Packard
July 10, 2022
I will briefly discuss the new app for the 2022 SMU Steel Summit Conference, which will be released later this week.
I will then talk about the NexGen Leadership Award nominations, which will close on July 15, and the NEXGEN Metals Community organization that you, or members of your organization, may wish to join.
SMU Steel Summit App To Be Released Later This Week
Some of you may have noticed that our new app, which can be found in your smart phone app store under SMU Steel Summit 2022, is available for download. The app is not yet functional. Instructions on how registered attendees can login and use the app will be coming over the course of this week.
Once the app goes “live,” registered attendees will have access to the attendee list and will be able to contact those they would like to network with during the conference. The app will also have the agenda, speaker bios, and the ability to live-stream presentations for those who are unable to be in the conference center.
At this moment, the rollout of the app is scheduled for Wednesday. More details to follow soon.
