Cold Roll Plant Under Construction in Pennsylvania

A new steel plant is slated for Canonsburg, Pa. Ameri-Precision Metals Inc. has begun construction on a 250,000-square-foot facility to produce cold-rolled and heat-treated carbon steel strips.
Ameri-Precision is leasing the location from Pennsylvania Transformer. The facility should be running by April or May with phase 1 production beginning in July. The site of the new plant is strategically located near an active rail line and Interstate 79.
Ameri-Precision Metals is a manufacturer of standard and custom specialty metal product, including cold rolled annealed, hardened tempered and hard rolled carbon steel, and stainless steel. Specialty metal products include alloy steel strips, Bundyweld® tubes and flexible metal hose.
