UPI Hikes Sheet Prices

February 22, 2018
USS-POSCO Industries is raising base prices on all sheet products. Effective immediately, UPI’s hot rolled pickled and oiled (HRPO) price increases by a minimum of $70 per net ton, while cold rolled and galvanized increase by $60 per ton.
The increase is due to changing market conditions, the mill said. “At this time, we have limited space available to accept orders for all products,” stated its letter to customers. Published extras continue to apply.
This is the fifth price increase announced by UPI since November totaling $220 on hot rolled and $190 on cold rolled and galvanized.
