Steel Market Update’s next Steel 101: Introduction to Steel Making & Market Fundamentals Workshop will be held in Merrillville, Ind., on March 28-29, 2018. The two-day session will include a tour of the NLMK USA steel mill.
• Do you have new employees who would benefit from learning about steel making (EAF and Integrated Process), rolling (both flat and long products), and to better understand how steel is sold and the market factors that impact steel prices?
• Do you have employees who are moving from job to job (sales to purchasing, customer service to logistics, etc.)?
• Are you bringing in new executives from outside the steel industry?
• Are you interested in getting a “refresher” course on the steelmaking process for yourself or others in your company?
• Steel Market Update created our Steel 101: Introduction to Steel Making & Market Fundamentals Workshop just for you.
We are the only steel training workshop that includes a tour of a working steel mill as part of the learning process.
We are the only steel training workshop where the instructors average more than 30 years of active experience on the subject they are teaching.
Every attendee receives a three-month Premium subscription to our Steel Market Update newsletter and full access to our website ($524 value).
Come rub shoulders with manufacturing companies, service centers, steel mills and others associated with the steel industry. The average class size is 25 people plus our six instructors.
Here is what one of our attendees thought of the workshop hosted earlier this year:
Being new to the steel industry I had so many questions! It is hard to sift through all the information found online and not get overwhelmed, but having this seminar is a good starting point to begin more in-depth searches and ask more intelligent questions. While you don’t walk out of this seminar as an expert, you do have a really good toolbox to become one in time. I thank the organizers and will try to get everyone in the company to eventually attend one of these in the future!
– Alejandra Bohorquez, Industrial Components of Texas
