AK Steel Announces Two New Board Members

AK Steel announced the election Mark G. Essig and Vicente Wright to its Board of Directors effective Nov. 1, 2013.
Mark Essig is currently CEO of FKI Security group and has held several senior executive positions in the steel industry including executive vice president at AK Steel from 1991 to 1998.
Vicente Wright served as chairman of the board of directors, as well as president and CEO of California Steel Industries (CSI). He has held several executive and management positions in global metal and mining companies including Vale S.A. He also served as a member of the board of directors for the American Iron and Steel Institute and other metal companies in Brazil, Argentina and France.
